Now the famous Turkish and Balkan coffee made from unfiltered black coffee. There’s nothing difficult about the brewing process, but centuries of brewing have made the Turks masters of this coffee. Traditionally made in dzezva on hot sand, but today there are stoves running on the sand… Millions of these cups are drunk every day and they are now very popular in the rest of Europe.

You will need:

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh ground black coffee
  • sugar (optional)

Water and sugar are heated in the dzezva to boiling point. Then you need to remove the dzezva from the stove, add the coffee and put it back on the stove. Let it return to bowling temperature as the foam forms. Remove it and repeat the process again (this will ensure that the foam doesn’t disappear while you drink the coffee). After drinking a cup of coffee, according to the belief of people who drank this coffee for centuries, it has the ability to divination. You simply spill the cup and a special fortune-teller will examine your future in the leftover coffee grounds.
