Bacon, avocado and bacon on spicy bread. Great for busy chefs, small kitchens, and college dorm rooms. 

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 (5-ounce) can of solid white tuna packed in water
  • ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon minced red onion
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2 hoagie buns, split
  • 1 avocado – peeled, pitted and sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 2 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 lettuce leaves

Directions

  • On a microwave-safe dish coated with paper towels, microwave bacon on high for 4 minutes or until crispy.
  • Tuna, Dijon mustard, horseradish, relish, and red onion are combined in the meantime. Add pepper and paprika for flavor. This mixture should be divided among the hoagie buns. Place 2 slices of bacon, 1 lettuce leaf, 1 slice of provolone cheese, 1/2 an avocado, 1/2 a tomato, and 1 lettuce slice on each sandwich.per. Divide this mixture between the hoagie buns. On each sandwich, place 1/2 an avocado, 1/2 a tomato, 1 slice provolone cheese, 1 lettuce leaf, and 2 slices bacon.
