Slow-cooked rump roast with only two ingredients for a delicious sandwich. Serve on crusty sandwich rolls

Grilled butt meat is simmered with only two ingredients for a delicious bread. Serve on crusty bread. 

  • 1 (4 pound) rump roast
  • 1 (12 ounce) jar Pepperoncini

Directions

Put the fat-side up on the rump roast in the slow cooker. Sprinkle the roast with the Pepperonicini liquid.

8 hours on Low for cooking. With two forks, shred the roast after removing the fat. Cook the roast in the liquid for another hour. Spoon the beef out using a slotted spoon.

Cook’s Notes:

Slice the Pepperoncini and put them on the sandwich according to taste. Served with a slice of provolone cheese, it is also wonderful.
