Growing lemongrass from supermarket
I would recommend growing lemongrass from supermarket to anyone, I was sceptical buts its very easy.
I think this will become the backbone plant of the garden, around the cafe and fitness centre im thinking of a few hundred plants, Id better get propagating.
Just cut the deed leaves off and pop into water for a couple of weeks and your ready to go. As with all grasses they tend to be tough and they take care of themselves, but with a little extra care they do really well they love the fish poop from the filter tanks.
Another advantage apart from keeping the mosquitoes away or eating is that the grass keeps the weeds at bay and has a cooling effect on the garden.
