There is very little bad to say about the glowlight danio; these little fish are excellent for community aquarium life. Glowlight danios are bright and well marked, hardy, lively without being boisterous, and very peaceful. Although they have become popular recently, they are a new addition to the hobby and were unheard of a few years ago. The fish must be kept in groups, since they are natural shoalers, and will look much better as groups. There are no special requirements for water conditions, although an aquarium with some vegetation is preffered and a varied diet will help to gain full colour and health.
